Description
More than 200 projects in France and around the world, immense projects that have sealed his status as the most famous French architect in the world, Jean Nouvel has received many international awards. For the Milanese brand Nemo, he created the “On Lines” lamp which, thanks to its simple, ingenious system, allows for endless configurations of light and transparency. The On Lines lamp consists of coloured methacrylate diffuser screens in different sizes. The LED light sources are integrated into the aluminium base. The diffuser screens slide freely in the four rails of the aluminium base to invent a unique lamp that is almost infinitely customisable. By overlapping, the plates reveal a superb play of shadows, colours and transparency. Very playful, the On Lines lamp lets you interact with light to help it evolve. The relationship with the object is a real experience for the user. A true abstract sculpture, this luminous object attracts attention! The base is equipped with 4 LED strips inserted in each of the four rails. Jean Nouvel on the On Lines lamp: “A simple, precise game. A play of coloured surfaces. On a luminous line, everyone imagines their own horizon line and coloured lights. Blurry, contrasting, pure, rhythmic, cold, hot, erotic... Everyone loses themselves according to the situation and their desires...’’
