Description
Our versatile Tab sofa has been cleverly designed with small and awkward access spaces in mind. Its modular, small footprint construction means you can build it up to the exact shape and size you require, and easily adapt this over time by adding or removing its modular pieces. Created in the Habitat design studio and made in Europe, it has a squared shape with smoothed corners and offers the upmost comfort with its deep seat design, foam filled seat cushions and smaller scatter cushions on top. The sofa is stylishly finished with low beech feet. Perfect for busy homes, this sofa is upholstered in a soft, easy-clean fabric to aid the removal of water-based stains. Mix and match with the other Tab modular pieces, which include a useful storage footstool. Before purchasing be sure to read our Sofa Measuring Guide to ensure this sofa will fit into your home. Once delivered to you, remember to plump and rotate your cushions regularly to keep your sofa looking its best.
Our Stylist Says
I love this green sofa for its bold, contemporary colour and versatile design. The reversible feature makes it adaptable to various room layouts, ideal for open-plan living spaces or angular rooms. Its vibrant teal hue works well in modern interiors with neutral tones, or as a statement piece in more eclectic schemes. For styling, consider pairing it with muted cushions, textured throws, or metallic accents to balance the colour pop. Keep nearby decor simple and let the sofa take centre stage, but don’t be afraid to add a patterned rug or wall art that complements the colour for a more layered, inviting look.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
