Description
Our range of 100 Egyptian cottons is woven into a 200-thread count weave. The high thread count gives a luxury feel to bedding which is soft and durable. Egyptian cotton is more absorbent and breathable than normal cotton, which helps to regulate your body temperature during the night. The cotton fabric we use for our high thread count bedding is combed cotton, as opposed to the normal carded cotton (which is cheaper, and usually poorer quality). Combed cotton is passed through a comb-like machine which creates longer, smoother and more even thread. This makes your bedding feel soft and luxurious. The minimalist fitted sheets, flat sheets and duvet cover sets complement each other to create the perfect simple, yet luxurious look. This bedding is perfect for mixing and matching with colourful bedding, or patterned duvet cover sets. About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
