I’m a big fan of this slim grey sofa table for its clean lines and clever T-shape, which slot neatly behind a small sofa or down a hallway without eating into your walkway. The grey wood finish and subtle curves work equally well in Scandi, contemporary or minimalist settings, adding just the right amount of texture without fuss. To style it, keep the top surface simple with a low lamp, a small plant and a single statement bowl or vase. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
