Description

Our Sym Square IP65 Tilted Downlight is the perfect way to bring a minimal style to your interiors, with a recessed design and a white finish perfect for incorporating a modern touch into your décor. The tiltable light head allows you to customise your lighting to best suit your personal needs – illuminating specific areas by easily tilting the head and directing the light where it’s needed most. With an IP65 rating, this ceiling light can even be used to light rooms such as your bathroom or kitchen, where larger water exposure is likely.

Our Stylist Says

I like the Sym Square IP65 tiltable downlight for its clean, modern look and practical design. Its white finish makes it versatile and unobtrusive, working well in a variety of interiors-from contemporary kitchens and bathrooms to commercial or minimalist spaces. The tiltable feature is a real plus, allowing you to direct light exactly where needed, which is perfect for highlighting artwork, pendant lights, or architectural features. To style it effectively, I recommend pairing it with understated, neutral-toned ceilings to keep the focus on the lighting's functionality and sleek appearance. It’s a smart choice for spaces that require a reliable, discreet lighting solution with the flexibility for customised illumination.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
