The Swing Lounger is the product of painstaking craftsmanship and is made from weather-resistant treated spruce. The high-class laminated glueing makes it particularly stable and secure. The extra-thick, water-repellent and rapidly drying mattress is your guarantee of perfect relaxation. The highly durable Agora cover is as soft as cotton, but it is exceptionally light-resistant and weatherproof. It is also water-repellent, proof against mildew, insensitive to dirt and easy to clean. The Swing Lounger can be used either as a gently rocking recliner on the ground, or as a perfectly balanced floating recliner in the Globo Stand frame (not included, spiral spring is included)."

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
