Price History
Description
Combining a medium grey finish with 7 drawers in a 5-over-2 layout, the Swindon chest of drawers is designed to offer practical storage and everyday functionality while complementing modern interiors. At 95cm wide, Its footprint is generous enough to offer serious everyday capacity while still fitting comfortably against a typical bedroom wall. Each drawer runs smoothly and offers proper depth, so folded clothing, linens or general household items all have a dedicated home rather than being piled on top of each other, and the consistent medium grey finish across every drawer front keeps the whole piece looking coordinated rather than mismatched. Built from quality board materials and finished to a consistent, durable standard, it's designed to withstand years of drawers opening and closing without runners sticking or fronts coming loose. It's the kind of piece that quietly earns its place in daily life, giving everything from clothing to bits and pieces a proper home instead of leaving them scattered across surfaces. On the practical side, it comes with the option of professional assembly, which takes the hassle out of getting furniture built and positioned correctly. It's a piece that ticks the practical boxes without compromising on style, making the Swindon a sound, long-term choice for anyone serious about everyday storage rather than a quick fix that needs replacing within a couple of years.
Our Stylist Says
I love this cabinet because of its versatile grey tone, which works well in both modern and traditional interiors. It's a practical choice for bedrooms, living spaces, or even hallways, offering ample storage with the plus 2 drawers for smaller essentials. Styling-wise, it pairs nicely with neutrals or understated pastels for a calm, cohesive look. For a contemporary finish, consider adding minimalist handles or even using the top surface for decorative items like plants or lamps. In more classic settings, its clean lines can be softened with textured textiles or vintage accessories for a balanced, stylish feel.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
