Description
Swindon brings 7 drawers in a 5-over-2 layout to modern UK homes, finished in gloss white and matt white and built to bring a bit of order to a bedroom or hallway that's short on storage. At 95cm wide, Its footprint is generous enough to offer serious everyday capacity while still fitting comfortably against a typical bedroom wall. Each drawer runs smoothly and offers proper depth, so folded clothing, linens or general household items all have a dedicated home rather than being piled on top of each other, and the consistent gloss white and matt white finish across every drawer front keeps the whole piece looking coordinated rather than mismatched. Every panel is finished to a durable standard, and the overall build is solid enough to take the everyday knocks of family life without drawers dropping out of alignment or fronts chipping. It suits a wide range of households, from young professionals wanting smart, low-fuss storage to families who need reliable everyday capacity for clothing and household items. On the practical side, it comes with the option of professional assembly, which takes the hassle out of getting furniture built and positioned correctly. Combining practical storage, comfort and everyday functionality with a finish that complements modern UK interiors, the Swindon chest of drawers is a dependable, good-looking addition to any home, and the kind of piece that still looks and works well long after the novelty of a new purchase has worn off.
Our Stylist Says
I love the Swindon gloss white with matte accents - it offers a sleek, modern look that works well in a range of interiors, from contemporary to minimalistic schemes. Its clean lines and neutral white finish create a fresh, versatile focal point, ideal for keeping spaces feeling bright and open. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple, textured accessories like woven baskets or monochrome artwork for a streamlined feel. It also works beautifully with soft pastel tones or bold colour pops on nearby accessories or textiles to add visual interest. This chest is a practical choice, providing ample storage while maintaining a clutter-free aesthetic, making it perfect for bedrooms, hallways, or even living areas.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
