Created in the Habitat design studio, it offers the upmost comfort with plump, foam and feather filled seat cushions and scattered feather filled back cushions. Finishing touches include dark oak legs and stitch details along the curved arms. With a subtle tweed look, it’s upholstered in a wool rich fabric blended with polyamide and acrylic for increased resistance to wear and fading, making it ideal for busy homes. Swift is also available in various sizes, colours and fabrics. Before making your decision be sure to read our Sofa Measuring Guide to ensure this sofa will fit into your home. And once delivered to you, remember to plump and rotate your cushions regularly to keep your sofa looking its best.
Our Stylist Says
I love this sofa for its bold teal hue, which can act as a statement piece in both modern and transitional interiors. Its clean lines and plush cushions make it inviting and versatile, perfect for a variety of colour schemes-from neutral tones to complementary jewel shades. Styling tip: pair it with patterned cushions or throws to add texture and visual interest, or keep the backdrop simple with muted walls to let the colour really pop. It works well in open-plan living areas or cosy corners, and its understated legs lend a light, airy feel that suits contemporary spaces beautifully.

The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
