The Lamino armchair and footstool, lacquered beech/sheepskin, from Swedish brand Swedese, is a set consisting of a lovely sheepskin armchair and a matching footstool. Both the armchair and the footstool are made of natural materials and are fantastic craftsmanship, something that has resulted in a prime example of timeless design and that is equally attractive today as it will be for future generations.

I often refer to this simply as the Lamino. I love its pared-back beech frame and the cosy black sheepskin - which together feel both light and inviting without dominating a room. It works equally well in Scandinavian-inspired minimal schemes, mid-century modern living areas or contemporary studies.
For styling, position it beside a slimline side table or a low shelving unit to keep sight lines clear. Layer a neutral wool throw over the back for extra warmth and tuck a small floor lamp behind for reading light. In open-plan spaces, use it to carve out a snug reading nook, perhaps adding a simple green plant to soften the lines.
