Description

Suzie Rechargeable Wall Light - Chrome

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Suzie rechargeable wall light for its sleek chrome finish, which makes it versatile enough to work in modern, contemporary, or even minimalist interiors. Its clean, understated look complements neutral tones or monochrome schemes, adding a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include placing it alongside mirrors or artwork to highlight key areas, or positioning it in hallways and bedrooms for ambient, functional lighting. Since it’s rechargeable, it’s ideal for rooms where you want flexible placement without visible wires, making it perfect for adding a little extra glow in spaces that need a modern, uncluttered finish.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
