Elevate your outdoor living space with the 2 x 3m Rectangular Parasol from Suntime. Made with a sleek powder-coated, weather-proof charcoal grey steel frame and six sturdy steel ribs, this parasol combines durability and elegance. The 160g/m2 canopy offers generous coverage while the air vent enhances airflow to keep you cool on hot summer days. The steel cross base provides stability and ensures secure placement. Whether you're enjoying a family gathering or simply relaxing in the shade, this parasol delivers reliable shade and adds a touch of sophistication to your patio or garden. Good to know: Base included but base weights are not included. Parasol requires four quarter base weights, either water-fillable or resin base weights measuring H7.5 x W50 x D50cm with a combined weight of 60kg.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sunshade because of its practical tilt feature, which allows you to adjust the angle throughout the day for optimal shade. The size and neutral colour make it versatile, working well in contemporary patios or classic garden settings. When styling, consider pairing it with streamlined outdoor furniture in similar neutral tones to create a cohesive, relaxed look. For added visual interest, introduce textured cushions or greenery around the base to soften the space. Its wind-up mechanism makes it user-friendly, ideal for climates where quick adjustments are needed. Overall, it’s a stylish, functional choice for creating shaded outdoor zones that feel effortlessly put together.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
