Our Stylist Says
The Sunrise Velvet Divan Bed with its tall upholstered headboard and sleek black finish is a versatile statement piece that lends itself well to contemporary and luxe interiors. I love how the velvet adds a touch of softness and sophistication, making it suitable for both modern minimalist spaces or more glamourous bedrooms. When styling around it, consider layering with textured bedding and elegant cushions for added depth. This bed's bold design works beautifully with darker colour palettes or can be softened with lighter, neutral tones to create a striking contrast. Practical tips include pairing it with streamlined bedside tables and minimal accessories to keep the look chic, and using warm lighting to enhance the velvet’s plush finish-it's all about balancing style with comfort.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
