Description
Originally created in 1929 this joyful textile design captures the after glow of summer's radiance. A beautiful example of an Art Deco floral, the bold poppies have an angular stylised quality to them. Poppies are seeped in ancient mythology, as far back as the Egyptian pharaohs and were found in tombs in the Valley of Kings - dating as far back as 3000 years. This unique design has been authentically reproduced using digital printing and ethically sourced materials.
Our Stylist Says
I love this piece because of its vibrant, painterly feel that adds a lively burst of colour to any room. It works particularly well in modern or eclectic interiors, where it can bring a sense of energy and freshness. A good styling tip is to pair it with neutral or muted furnishings to let the artwork really stand out, or consider framing it with a simple border for a clean, contemporary look. This print also works nicely displayed in a grouping of artworks or as a focal point above a console or sofa, adding personality and a touch of art history with its vintage-inspired feel. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that can lift the mood of any space.
