Description
I'm sure you've seen Farmhouse-style furniture in the past that combines stunning oak tops with smooth painted bases, but have you seen one quite as gorgeous as this? The incredible Suffolk Grey Painted Oak Collection is one of the finest examples we've seen of a classic/contemporary blend that's just perfect if you're looking to lighten up your home. The tops of this furniture are chunky, a lot thicker than many similar alternatives and the smooth chrome cup handles add the contemporary twist that really makes this range stand out from the rest. Within the Suffolk Grey Painted Oak Collection you'll find an extensive range of Living and Dining Room furniture including X-Leg Dining Tables and accompanying benches. It would be remiss of us not to mention the one truly unique feature of this collection, namely the wicker baskets on selected items. These create an awesome contrast against the painted frames and allow for an alternative way of storing your belongings. This range is also available in white from Chiltern Oak, named Suffolk White Painted Oak.
Our Stylist Says
I love this large bookcase for its versatile colour and scale, making it an excellent focal point in any room. The Suffolk Grey finish offers a soft, neutral tone that complements both modern and traditional interiors, while the sturdy oak top adds a hint of warmth and natural texture. It works particularly well in living rooms, home offices, or even bedrooms where you want a practical storage solution with style. For styling, I recommend layering books and decorative objects like vases or artwork to add personality. The woven baskets at the base are perfect for hiding away less attractive items, keeping the bookcase tidy and adding visual interest. Overall, it's a functional piece with a timeless look that can adapt to numerous decorating styles.
