Subura Table Lamp - Gold

Price History

Description

The unique design of this gold-finished aluminium lamp is reminiscent of an ornate sculpture or decorative birdcage, which is how it derived its name; subura is the word for “birdcage” in Sumerian, the oldest known civilisation to have kept written records. While its name may be inspired by the old world, this lamp's linear structure will blend just as well into modern schemes.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little guy because it adds a touch of elegance and modernity to various interiors. The gold base makes it a versatile statement piece that works well in both contemporary and luxe schemes, especially when paired with muted colour palettes or paired with other metallic accents. It’s a practical choice for bedside tables, living room side tables, or even as a distinctive desk lamp. A styling tip would be to keep the rest of the space simple, allowing the lamp’s geometric detailing to shine, and if you opt for a fabric shade like this, consider layering with other textured accessories to create warmth and interest in the room.
