The String shelf was designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949 and is a true design classic. This kitchen version comes with hangers so you can hang your wine glasses from the shelf but you could also add hooks - you decide.

I’m a big fan of the String kitchen shelf in white because it strikes the perfect balance between function and understatement. Its slim frame and mix of open shelves, hooks and wooden inset board make it ideal for modern Scandi kitchens, pared-back urban lofts or even a clutter-taming worktop in a farmhouse-style space.
