Description
A Scandinavian design icon! The String shelving system was designed in 1949 by Swedish architect Nils Strinning (1917-2006), a leading figure in Scandinavian design. String is a system of modular shelves that can be combined depending on your needs. It is light, adaptable and offers a minimalist, timeless design, all of which have made it a Swedish design classic. The String shelf is still manufactured in Sweden, in line with high quality standards. Its design has not changed since 1949. The String Pocket wall shelf can be fully disassembled. It consists of two brackets made of metal wire into which three height-adjustable shelves are fitted. Compact and convenient, you can position it anywhere, kitchens, entrances, bathrooms, bedrooms or living rooms. You can create a graphic composition on your wall by combining several String shelves side by side, vertically or horizontally. The wide range of colours, from bold and vibrant shades to pastel tones, means that String shelves can complement all interior styles. In this String® Pocket version, the three shelves are made using lacquered MDF.
