I’m a fan of the Stretton coffee table for its mix of warm oak-effect panels and slim black metal frame - it brings just enough industrial edge without feeling heavy. It sits neatly in Scandi, modern farmhouse or urban-loft schemes, and the two drawers plus central cubby keep clutter out of sight while maintaining an open, airy feel.
To style it, start with a low-profile tray for drinks and remotes in one corner, balance that with a small stack of design books or a sculptural vase on the opposite side. Tuck a soft, neutral-toned rug underneath to anchor the piece, and if you like a touch of greenery, a low-lying plant in a ceramic pot fits beautifully in the cubby.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
