Originally a fabric designed by Morris and registered in 1883 Strawberry Thief was first indigo discharge printed on cotton at Merton Abbey. Although very expensive to produce it became one of the most popular designs for fabric and for the first time it is now available as a wallpaper in colours to co-ordinate with the Strawberry Thief prints from the Archive II Collection. This floral design features birds and strawberries in shades of indigo blue green red and orange. Application Method: paste the paper and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match:Straight match. vertical pattern repeat: 61cm.
I love the rich, detailed pattern of the Strawberry Thief wallpaper, which brings a timeless charm and vibrancy to any space. It works particularly well in traditional interiors or eclectic schemes where its intricate design can be showcased as a statement wall. For styling, consider pairing it with muted, monochrome furniture to let the wallpaper stand out, or complement it with vintage accessories that echo its historic feel. Practical tips include using it behind a sofa or in a hallway to add visual interest, while keeping furniture and decor simple to avoid overwhelming the space. It's a bold choice but one that adds character and a sense of craftsmanship to any room.
