Description

Part of our Aspen casual dining collection this straight stitch design fabric dining chair is a stylish choice for your home. This chair is a compact design made using an innovative plastic moulded seat which is then encapsulated in foam and soft fibre filling before a straight stitched design fabric cover is applied. The underframe is made from tapered steel tubing, coated in an hardwearing black paint finish. Assembly is simple and straightforward using steel bolts to connect the seat to the underframe, no need for any special tools as this is included for you. These chairs are sized to enable use where space is at a premium and will look good with many different styles of tables. The corded or flat weave fabrics in a choice of subtle colours means you can easily find a complementing choice for your home decoration.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of these straight-stitch chairs in natural fabric because their clean lines and subtle detailing suit everything from Scandinavian minimalism to relaxed industrial schemes. The light upholstery brightens small dining spaces, while the black metal legs add just enough contrast. For a cohesive look, pair them with a timber table in ash or oak and layer on a simple woven runner. If you want a touch of colour, introduce cushions in muted greens or terracotta. Practical tip: place felt pads under the legs to protect hard floors and keep the chairs sliding smoothly.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
