I’m a big fan of these oak nest tables - they’re sturdy, unfussy and slip neatly together when you need to save floor space. The simple round tops and slim legs suit both modern and Scandi schemes, and the warm wood tone adds just enough texture without overwhelming a room.
Styling-wise, pull them apart to use as occasional side tables or group them under the sofa arm as a mini bar station. Keep them tidy with a small plant, a coaster and a slim reading light, or stack a couple of art books with a ceramic bowl on top. They work equally well in a compact flat or as extra surfaces in a larger, neutral living area.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
