Our popular Storage Footstool combines practicality with comfort making it the perfect armchair companion. The upholstered lid with deep padding for optimum comfort is available in a traditional woven floral design. Under the hinged lid is a useful storage compartment for everyday essentials such as remote control, glasses, pens etc. Made from timber and MDF sections and wooden turned screw-in legs with a dark wood stain for a classic finish.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
