Swiss design house Vitra is the only company authorised to manufacture Charles & Ray Eames products for Europe: if you own an Eames product manufactured by Vitra, you can be sure it’s an original. Charles and Ray Eames are two of the most important designers of the 20th century. Their work includes furniture design, film and photography as well as exhibition design. In 1960, Charles and Ray Eames were commissioned to design three entrance halls at the Rockefeller Center in New York. That’s how the Stools stools were born. These stools with their sculptural silhouette are made of turned solid walnut. They can also be used as small side tables.
