Description

Designed in 1960 by iconic duo Charles and Ray Eames, the solid walnut Stool A would lend a touch of classic design to any space. Originally designed as part of a commission from Time Inc. To adorn the interiors of the Rockefeller Centre in New York, Stool C can be used for a multitude as purposes including as a side table, stool or display shelf. Expertly lathe-turned from solid walnut and finished with transparent lacquer, Stool A is part of a collection of three stools. Each elegant stool is differentiated by the distinctive profile of its central section. View our entire range of Eames furniture.

Our Stylist Says

I love this solid walnut stool for its blend of functionality and crafted elegance. Its versatile size and design make it ideal for both practical use, like extra seating or a side table, and as a visual statement piece. It works particularly well in contemporary and mid-century styled interiors, but can also add warmth to more eclectic or rustic schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured textiles or placing a decorative object on top to add personality. Its natural wood finish brings a touch of organic warmth, making it a great addition to living rooms, bedrooms, or even in a hallway as a statement accent.
