The timeless allure of solid marble. The contemporary appeal of naturally beautiful wood. The exceptional quality of Italian craftsmanship. It all comes together in the Stone International Rigato dining table. Why you'll love it Contemporary yet timeless, this beautiful marble dining table defies definition. Handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans from only the finest natural materials. Each dining table is as unique as the marble from which it is made. Striking edge profile – a deep curve that seems to flow under the table top. Architectural wood pedestal base carved with linear vertical grooves. Lower edges curve upwards, appearing to rise off the floor. In a wide choice of sizes, including custom sizes. Made to order. This dining table is part of the Stone International Rigato range. What you need to know This 240 cm dining table seats 12. Solid marble top. Wood frame and base. Every piece of marble is unique and will vary in colour. Veins and pores are completely natural. Fissures – narrow cracks – will be filled to create a smooth surface. Any slight opening in a fissure is completely normal. Fissures do not affect the structural integrity of the stone. Marble furniture requires special care and attention. As a soft stone, marble is susceptible to chipping, staining, cracking, scratching and discolouration. Marble is porous so spills need to be removed immediately to minimise staining. This is especially important with acidic substances like fruit juice, wine and curry. Ensure that moisture does not become trapped under anything placed on the surface like vases. Always use coasters and placemats to protect against heat, spills and ring marks. Clean regularly. Wipe gently with a cloth dampened with warm water or transparent rubbing alcohol. Dry with a soft duster. To restore shine and protect the surface, use natural furniture paste wax. DO NOT use knives to cut food on this marble top, or use it as a work top, or place heavy weights on it or use acidic or abrasive cleaners. Never sit or stand on a marble surface.
I love this table for its striking mix of natural textures and modern craftsmanship. The waterfall edge gives it a sleek, clean look, while the stone surface adds a sense of durability and sophistication. It works exceptionally well in contemporary or industrial interiors, especially when paired with neutral or earthy tones that highlight the material contrast. Practical styling tips include keeping the tabletop clutter-free for a minimalist vibe, or adding textured textiles and statement lighting to soften the overall look. It's perfect for creating a focal point in a dining room that balances understated elegance with practical appeal.
