Description

Made from pine and MDF, this Mid-Sleeper bed frame from Stompa lends unfaltering quality to practical appeal. Safe and sturdy, it's designed with solid wooden slats and an attractive rounded headboard, while the ladder has been ergonomically designed with comfortable treads, so you can rest assured that your child can climb easily up and down, with the added assistance of cut-out grab handles. The rounded pull-out desk has been designed with castors for ease of use, and can easily be stashed beneath the bed. Use this along with the cube unit to store books, games and craft materials, keeping everything close at hand for work and play. The unit features two push-to-open doors in a choice of popular colourways, helping you to keep clutter out of sight, and allowing you to truly tailor their space. Its neat lacquered finish and feature design elements make this furniture set the perfect option for adding a touch of space-saving fun to their room. Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this kind of mid-sleeper because it maximises floor space without feeling cramped. The simple white finish works well in both Scandi-inspired rooms and more colourful, boho schemes - just add a few bright cushions or a patterned rug to bring it to life. The pull-out desk is perfect for homework or crafts, and the cube unit keeps books and toys neatly tucked away. To style it, I’d use neutral bedding with one accent shade carried through soft toys and wall art, then add a small table lamp on the desk for a cosy, functional nook.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
