Description

This mid-sleeper bed offers plenty of functional space, and with its charming three sided star print tent, the under bed area is easily transformed into a dedicated place for play. Made from pine and MDF, this safe and sturdy bed features solid wooden slats and attractive rounded head and foot boards in a choice of white, pink or blue colourways. The ladder has been ergonomically designed with comfortable treads, so that your child can climb easily up and down, whilst cut-out grab handles help to ensure their safety. Its lacquered finish and feature design elements make this piece the perfect option for adding a touch of space-saving fun to their room. Ladder can be positioned either side of the bed. Not recommended for children under the age of 6 years. This bed takes a continental single mattress (W90 x L200cm), available to purchase separately. Mattress should not exceed a depth of 15cm. Stompa has been manufacturing safe furniture for active children for over half a century. Their furniture is functional and competitively priced aiming to fulfill all your child`s needs. Our Stylist Says

I love the Stompa Uno S Plus mid-sleeper because of its versatile design and playful star print tent, which makes it a fun focal point in a child's room. The grey headboard adds a neutral touch that can seamlessly blend into both contemporary and traditional interiors, while the star print introduces a lively element without overwhelming the space. Styling-wise, it works well with colour schemes like soft pastels or bold primary colours, and can be easily complemented with fun accessories like colourful cushions or fairy lights. To create a more personalised look, consider adding personalised wall decals or a cosy reading nook underneath, making the space even more inviting and practical for everyday use.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
