Description

Made from pine and MDF, this safe and sturdy high-sleeper from Stompa is a practical and space-saving choice for their bedroom. Designed with solid wooden slats and an attractive white rounded head board, its ladder has been ergonomically designed with comfortable treads, so that your child can easily climb up and down, while cut-out grab handles offer an extra reassurance of safety. The chair bed folds up to provide comfortable seating during the day, transforming into a comfortable pull-out bed at night - perfect for having their friends to stay. The solid wood slat system allows for easy extension of the bed, and together with the hinged foam cushion set, offers a supportive and comfortable sleeping surface. The cube unit provides space for all their essentials, whilst the two sleek push-to-open doors, in a selection of colourways allows you to truly tailor their space and enhance their colour scheme. Boasting a lacquered finish and feature design elements, they'll love the cool and versatile touch this will add to their room. Our Stylist Says

I love the Stompa Uno S Plus high-sleeper because of its versatile design and practical features. The white headboard and grey chair bed give it a fresh, modern look that works well in contemporary interiors or Scandinavian-inspired schemes. It’s perfect for maximising space in smaller rooms, especially with the integrated storage like the 2-door cube unit, which helps keep clutter out of sight. I’d recommend styling around it with neutral tones or soft pastel accents for a calming bedroom retreat, while adding colourful cushions or bedding to introduce character. This setup is ideal for multifunctional spaces, doubling as a study corner or chill-out zone, making it a smart, stylish choice for kids’ or teen rooms.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
