Description

This bunk bed from Stompa boasts an innovative design that allows you to split it into two single beds so that you can re-organise their room as they grow up. What's more, it features a single size trundle that you can simply pull-out from beneath to access additional sleep space for sleepover guests. Made from pine and MDF, it has solid wooden slats that offer a supportive base for the mattresses. The ladder, which can be positioned either side of the frame, is designed with flat steps so that your child can climb easily and safely up and down, while the bottom bunk has sufficient headroom clearance so that it's easy to sit comfortably with your little one (97.5cm slat to slat). Its classic profile and versatile painted finish allow you to create a bedroom look that will tie in perfectly with the rest of your decor. Worth Knowing The top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years. Compatible mattresses are available to purchase separately: Both bunk beds are compatible with Extra Long Single mattresses, L200 x W90cm. Product codes: 80364904 or 80364905 The underbed trundle is suitable for occasional use and is compatible with a Single Trundle mattress, L190 x W90cm. Product codes: 80364906 Our children's furniture ranges pass all British Standards safety and quality. We go beyond the legal requirements when we design our furniture, so that you and your child can both sleep soundly. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. It's also worthwhile to try your choice of mattress in store to make sure it's right for your child. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this Stompa multi-bunk because it makes the most of limited space without feeling cramped. The clean white finish and simple lines suit modern Scandi, coastal or minimalist schemes, and the trundle is ideal for sleepovers or guests. For styling, tuck fun-patterned bedding under a plain duvet cover to change the look easily, and add wall-mounted reading lights or colourful shelves above each bed. Use under-bed storage boxes to keep toys and bedding tidy, then place a soft rug and a couple of floor cushions nearby to create a little reading or play nook.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
