Description

This stylish cabin bed from Stompa combines the smartness of a daybed with the practicalities of a useful storage drawer that can also be used as an occasional guest bed with a full-size mattress (available to buy separately). A must-have for teenagers wanting style with versatility in their bedroom. Dress it as a chic daybed with lots of scatter cushions during the day and chill out listening to your favourite tracks and then transform it into a cosy bed at night time. Stompa has been manufacturing safe furniture for active children for over half a century. Their furniture is functional and competitively priced aiming to fulfil all your child`s needs. Whether it`s a place to sleep, play, do homework or use their computer, Stompa provides storage and seating solutions that easily convert to an extra bed for sleepovers as well as a range of coordinating accessories. Our children's furniture ranges pass all British Standards safety and quality. We go beyond the legal requirements when we design our furniture so that you and your child can both sleep soundly. Good to know The bed comes in 3 boxes and requires assembly. The estimated assembly time is 1.5 hours. It requires an extra long single mattress (sold separately). Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this grey cabin bed with its trundle drawer makes the most of a small room, offering a sleek, space-saving profile that works equally well in Scandi, contemporary or coastal schemes. Its neutral finish is easy to layer with pops of colour in cushions or a patterned throw, and the extra-long single size suits growing children or a compact guest corner. For practical styling, use the trundle for sleepovers or slide in storage baskets to keep toys and linen neatly tucked away. Add a wall-mounted reading light and a small floating shelf at the head to hold bedtime essentials without cluttering the floor.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
