I’m a fan of the simple oak stool for its clean lines and natural-oil finish - it brings a subtle warmth without overwhelming a scheme. Its half-moon top and slender, tapered legs work equally well in Scandi, Japandi or contemporary country interiors, slotting neatly into a hallway, living room or bathroom.
Styling tip: use it as an occasional side table by topping it with a small plant or stack of books, or add a sheepskin cushion for extra seating. It also sits nicely alongside a low sofa or in a corner alongside woven baskets for a lived-in feel.
