Description

Carl dining table oak from Stolab is created to honour Carl Malmsten and his classic spindle-back chair Lilla Åland, whose form is sturdy, self-evident, functional, and tactile. The Carl table adopts the chair's character with turned outward legs and a bevelled edge on the tabletop. The round laminated apron has a soft profile to give an organic impression. All edges are additionally generously rounded to emphasise the relationship with the chair. The table is round in its standard design but can be extended with up to four extension leaves, depending on the need. Please note that support legs are required when using three or more extension leaves.

An Odyssey in Scandinavian Design

Established in 2002, Nordic Nest underwent a transformation in name from Scandinavian Design Center in 2019. However, its core ethos remained unchanged - to introduce the world to the elegance and simplicity of Scandinavian interior design.

Today, it's not just a brand; it's a hallmark of premium Nordic design, offering a selection of over 30,000 products. Commitment to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.

They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.

Bridging Cultures Through Translation

In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.

Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.

Working with Contentor, Nordic Nest has focused on more than just translating words. They've worked together to create a full, enjoyable shopping experience for customers everywhere.
