Stochastic suspension plunges us into a fairy world. Designer Daniel Rybakken released this suspension as a contemporary sculpture, a delicate and majestic object. Stochastic consists of 48 blown glass spheres, suspended at the end of thin steel rods which surround the LED source. The light is both hidden and scattered by the glass spheres, which creates a magical effect.
I love this modern, sculptural pendant for its versatile design and bold presence. Its cluster of glowing spheres creates a soft, diffuse light ideal for contemporary living spaces, dining areas, or even a creative office environment. It works well in minimalist interiors due to its clean lines, but also lends a playful touch to more eclectic or bold decors. For styling, consider hanging it in a room with neutral tones to make it a statement feature, or pairing it with softer colours to highlight its elegant shape. Practical tips include positioning it above a dining table or a central seating area to maximise its visual impact and ensure the height is adjustable to suit different ceiling heights.
