Price History

Description

Its subtle, vibrant shades are created using the traditional tie and dye technique: the skeins of wool are cable knit and then immersed in successive colour baths. Each piece is unique and reveals multiple tonalitiesshading that creates a delicate speckled effect. A rug that combines the comfort of wool, the richness of colour and traditional know-how. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 3800g/m² • Pile height: 30mm. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Each piece is handcrafted, according to ancestral know-how. There may therefore be slight variations in colour from one carpet to another.. They contribute to the beauty of each piece and make it unique. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cmDelivery:. Available for home delivery.

Our Stylist Says

I love the simple yet sophisticated look of the Stellis Pure Wool Hand-Knotted Rug. Its neutral tones and textured finish make it versatile enough to suit both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to add warmth and comfort without overpowering the space. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or muted furnishings to highlight its craftsmanship, or bring in colour through cushions and accessories for a layered effect. Because it’s hand-knotted wool, it’s durable and great for high-traffic areas, while also adding a cosy tactile element underfoot.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.
