Description
A study of body entities evolving into independent units, created using oil and wax on canvas. About the artist Based in Daphne, Alabama, Austrian artist Barbara Kuegel has shown her work extensively throughout Europe and the US. Inspired by "awkward social interactions", she creates abstract expressionist figurative portraits rendered as life-sized woodworks she carves by hand.
