Description

Upgrade your floor lighting with the Stassy Tripod Feet Floor Lamp in Satin Brass and White. The combination of the satin brass finish and white shade offers a chic mid-century aesthetic, while the tripod design adds a touch of visual interest. This floor lamp becomes a versatile and eye-catching addition to any room, offering an ambient glow projected outwards.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tripod floor lamp because of its sleek satin brass finish and the clean, minimalist design that makes it versatile across various interiors. It works particularly well in modern, Scandinavian, and even contemporary spaces where its understated elegance can shine. Practical styling tips include positioning it next to a cosy armchair or a seating nook to add warm, layered lighting, or using it as an eye-catching accent piece in a neutral living room palette. Pairing it with textured cushions, neutral tones, or even a vintage coffee table can help create a sophisticated, welcoming atmosphere. Its adaptable style means it can effortlessly elevate both casual and more polished interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
