Description

The Stanley Tahoe Outdoor Circular Wall or Ceiling Light with Slats is a great choice for your exterior lighting, providing optimal practicality with lighting up your outdoor areas, while also providing a versatile white aesthetic, able to be used on ceilings and walls. This stylish light fitting is wonderful for any porch, patio or balcony, due to the versatile bright colour and design, granting the user more freedom over their lighting.

Our Stylist Says

I love this outdoor light for its sleek, modern design and versatile appeal. Its circular form with slats adds a clean, contemporary touch while allowing light to cast interesting shadows, making it perfect for both minimalist and industrial exteriors. It works well in porch areas, garden walls, or underneath covered outdoor spaces. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with other steel or muted-tone fixtures for a cohesive look, and keep the surrounding landscape simple to let the light feature stand out. Practical tip: install it at eye level for general lighting or higher for ambient glow, ensuring it complements the overall outdoor aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
