The one and only A56 Armchair by TOLIX: the Original, the icon of French design. Repeatedly copied, the A56 Armchair by Tolix is one of the great classics of 20th-century furniture. Jean Pauchard launched the A56 Armchair in 1956. It follows the same basic principles as his father's famous A Chair. More than half a century later, the A56 remains one of the most emblematic armchairs in the world of design. It has stood the test of time and style to become a classic in the collective memory.
