Returning to ancestral artistic techniques, the top of the Stability side table tabletop is hand-carved from a material that was once widely used and then forgotten, whose development took a year of work. This material called "Mineral" is made from mineral powders, water, earth, natural colour pigments and metallic powders. Its textured surface in relief, as if fragmented, mimics different elements found in nature : tree bark, lava, rock. It’s an extremely tactile material that draws the eye as much as the hand. The relief of the surface of the top is hand-carved by highly skilled craftsmen : this result would be impossible to obtain with an industrial process. The result of work that combines ancestral techniques and new technologies, each Stability console table is truly unique, and affirms its own singularity, identity and character. Due to slight variations in concentrations, shades and play of light, colour differences are possible. This is the mark of a unique, quality product. The thickness of the top creates an evocative contrast with the airy shape of the metal base.
