Description

Spring features pliant ribbons of stainless steel, arranged like a whisk around a custom-made dimmable Tom Dixon LED module. Like a spring, the semi-transparent shape can be adjusted to a variety of silhouettes - from a flat spirograph, to a flying saucer, and on to a fuller pumpkin shape. The nature of the spiral design allows the voluminous shades to be easily flat packed for transportation. Height -12-70cm. Width - 95-112cm. Weight - 3.85kg. Cable Length - 250cm

Our Stylist Says

The spring large pendant is a striking statement piece ideal for contemporary or minimalist interiors, thanks to its bold, sculptural design. I love it for its balance of organic shape and architectural detail, which can serve as a focal point over dining tables, in open-plan living spaces, or even in high-ceilinged entryways. It works particularly well with neutral colour palettes, allowing the intricate grill-like pattern to stand out, but can also complement metallic or black accents for added visual interest. When styling, consider pairing it with softer furnishings and layered lighting to create a modern yet inviting atmosphere. Its large size makes it versatile, but be mindful of scale in smaller rooms to ensure it doesn't overwhelm the space.

About Tom Dixon

Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British luxury design brand offering contemporary lighting, furniture, and accessories. Their innovative designs are perfect for those looking to make a unique, modern statement in their home.

From Bass Guitar to Design Guru

Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.

By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.

But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.

Master of Materials

Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.

Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.

His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.

More Than Just Products

Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.

From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
