Description
Playful yet refined, the Spot collection introduces confident pops of sophisticated colour to modern interiors through a clean, architectural silhouette. The lightweight, portable side table transitions effortlessly between living, sleeping, and workspaces, utilising a reduced, purposeful form that works brilliantly in multiples for flexible everyday living. Spot is made entirely from durable, fully recyclable steel finished in high-gloss powder coat. Featuring a cantilevered tabletop paired with a simple column and a weighted base, it ensures absolute stability without visual heaviness.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this side table because of its clean, modern silhouette and rich colour, which makes it a versatile piece that can work well in a variety of interiors. It’s perfect for adding a pop of colour beside a sofa, armchair, or in a bedroom corner. The height is practical for keeping a lamp, book, or a cup nearby without cluttering the space. I’d suggest styling it with simple accessories like a small vase or a textured tray to highlight its sleek design, and it works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist schemes where its sculptural form can stand out. Its sturdy base and compact size also make it a practical choice for smaller rooms or as an occasional surface in larger, layered interiors.

About Tom Dixon
From Bass Guitar to Design Guru
Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.
Master of Materials
Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.
Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.
His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.
More Than Just Products
Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.
From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
