Description

The Spitfire Bar Stool offers a vintage style with rustic character, adding an antique aesthetic to your kitchen or bar. Featuring an adjustable classic round seat with a backless design, crafted from solid elm wood with a satin black powder-coated steel frame. Simply spin the seat clockwise and anti-clockwise to adjust the height. Perfect match for the Dalston Bar Table.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Spitfire stool for its industrial charm, which makes it a versatile piece for a range of interiors, from urban kitchens to rustic cafes. The mocha elm top offers a warm, natural tone that adds texture without overwhelming, while the black metal frame lends durability and a utilitarian feel. It works especially well in open-plan kitchens or breakfast bars when styled alongside minimalist or vintage-inspired décor. For practical styling tips, consider pairing it with other industrial elements like reclaimed wood or exposed brick, and don’t be afraid to mix heights for a dynamic, lived-in look. It’s a resilient and sleek addition that can transition easily between functional seating and decorative statement.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
