I’ve been using the spindleback chair in a few projects and appreciate its clean lines, light oak finish and gently curved back - it feels both considered and comfortable. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired or minimalist schemes, but equally softens more contemporary or coastal settings when teamed with woven textiles and natural finishes.
For practical styling, keep your palette neutral - think muted greys, off-whites and soft beiges - and layer in texture via a simple linen seat pad or a chunky wool throw draped over the back.
