Description

Combining the traditional style of spindle back with the striking modern tones of the black painted wood, this bench works in a variety of interior schemes. Curvaceous arms meet with round, slightly tapered legs to create a simple structure that works well placed in a hallway as a place to pop your shoes on each morning, or in your dining space as a quirky addition to your dining table.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this spindle-back bench for its clean lines and sturdy build - the black finish works as a strong anchor in everything from Scandi-inspired hallways to contemporary living rooms. Its slim profile means you can tuck it into narrow spaces without crowding the room, and the back spindles add a subtle nod to mid-century design. Styling tips: layer with a couple of textured cushions in muted tones and a folded throw for comfort, then tuck a low basket or pair of slim storage boxes underneath to keep shoes or blankets organised. Hang a simple coat rail or a framed print above to create a welcoming entry vignette.
