Description
Returning to ancestral artistic techniques, the frame of this mirror is hand-sculpted from a material that was once widely used and then forgotten. The development of this piece took a year of hard work. This material called "Mineral" is made from mineral powders, water, earth, natural colour pigments and metallic powders. Its textured surface in relief, as if fragmented, mimics different elements found in nature: tree bark, lava, rock. It’s an extremely tactile material that draws the eye as much as the hand. The frame's embossed surface is hand-sculpted by highly-qualified artisans: this result would be impossible to obtain with an industrial process. The result of work that combines ancestral techniques and new technologies, each Sphere mirror is truly unique, and affirms its own singularity, identity and character. Due to slight variations in concentrations, shades and play of light, colour differences are possible. This is the mark of a unique, quality product Maintenance: use a dry cloth for daily dusting. For cleaning, or in the event of any liquid spills, use a damp cloth and natural soap. Immediately clean up any liquid spills or splashes.
