Our Stylist Says
The Speed Movement rug in black is a sleek and modern choice that works well in contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its bold, dark tone helps to ground a space while adding a touch of sophistication. I love pairing it with neutral furniture and accentuating with metallic or vibrant accessories for contrast. This large size (230cm) makes it perfect for creating a defined area in open-plan layouts or adding warmth to bedrooms. To style it effectively, keep surrounding colours simple and uncluttered, letting the rug be the statement piece. It’s also practical for high-traffic areas due to its Dark hue, which is forgiving of dirt and stains.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
