Description

The Soraya design partners a quality low-pile finish with an on-trend distressed traditional pattern. In luxe shades, Soraya is perfect for getting the high-end vintage feel in your space. Made from 100% polyester, Soraya is soft underfoot and extremely low maintenance, perfect for no-fuss stylish households. This is a hard-wearing machine-made rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. A small amount of fibre loss is normal on a new rug. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and reduce pressure marks from furniture. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Latex is used on the back of this rug. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this Soraya rug for a child’s room because its worn-in blue and blush tones nod to a classic pattern without feeling too formal, and it’s hardwearing enough for play. It works well in both contemporary and more traditional schemes - think pale walls, light wood furniture and pastel accents - and it can easily sit under a small table and chairs or a low bed. For styling, lay a non-slip underlay underneath to keep it in place, and pair with scatter cushions in soft pinks, teals or greys for cohesion. Keep surrounding décor simple - perhaps a white storage unit or open shelving - to let the rug’s muted pattern lift the space without it feeling busy. Regular vacuuming and spot-treating spills will help maintain its colours and texture.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family.
