Description
Table lamps are a brilliant way of adding extra light to a room and are great for creating a relaxing atmosphere. Our Soni Table Lamp has a sleek design that would work well with a wide variety of interiors and would look great sat on a bedside table or coffee table. The chrome finish paired with the opal glass shades make this design very versatile too and it would look great paired with the other lights in this collection.
Our Stylist Says
I love this lamp for its sleek, contemporary look and versatile glam appeal. Its chrome finish makes it a great fit for modern and minimalist interiors, but it also works well in eclectic, vintage, or Scandinavian schemes when paired thoughtfully. It’s perfect for bedside tables, desks, or even living room sideboards, adding a touch of shine without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include pairing it with soft textures like velvet or linen to balance its reflective surface or placing it alongside lush greenery to create contrast. Keep the surrounding decor simple to let the lamp’s clean lines stand out or complement it with metallic accessories for a cohesive look.

About BHS.com
Historical Roots
British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.
Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.
Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!
Expansion and Evolution
BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.
They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
