Our Stylist Says
I really like this velvet ottoman for its versatility and understated style. The brown tone adds warmth and works well in both neutral and eclectic interiors, whether as a footrest, extra seating, or even a hidden storage spot for blankets and magazines. Its soft velvet finish gives a touch of luxury without feeling overly formal, making it suitable for lounge areas, bedrooms, or even a cosy corner in an eclectic living room. For styling tips, consider pairing it with natural textures like wool or linen, or using it as a contrasting piece alongside more structured furniture to add softness. The fold-away lid also makes it practical for storage needs, which is always handy in smaller spaces or when you want to keep clutter out of sight.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
